1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using PromptVault, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, you must not use our platform.

2. Rules of Conduct & Platform Use

PromptVault is a community resource. You agree that you will NOT:

  • Submit prompts designed to bypass AI safety filters (jailbreaks), generate illegal content, or facilitate malicious activities.
  • Submit proprietary, confidential, or copyrighted text that you do not have the explicit right to share publicly.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to extract data, prompts, or user information from our database.
  • Attempt to overwhelm, attack, or bypass the security of our infrastructure or search APIs.

We reserve the right to remove any content or terminate any account at our sole discretion, without notice, if we determine these rules have been violated.

3. User Submissions & Licensing

You retain all ownership rights to the prompts you create. However, by submitting a prompt to PromptVault, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your prompt across our platform and associated promotional materials.

4. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Please read this section carefully, as it limits our liability.

"As Is" Basis: PromptVault is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or success of the prompts hosted on our platform. AI models change frequently, and a prompt that works today may not work tomorrow.

No Liability for AI Outputs: PromptVault only hosts text templates. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the outputs generated by third-party AI models (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Midjourney) when you use prompts found on our site.

Maximum Liability: In no event shall PromptVault, its founders, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, financial, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the platform, the inability to use the platform, or any outputs generated by third-party AI tools using our content.

5. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PromptVault and its team from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the service, or your violation of these Terms.
